Why We Build Different: Reframed Clothing's Commitment to Quality, Certified Fabrics, and Local Manufacturing

There's a version of "quality" that's just a marketing word. A buzzword stitched onto a label to justify a price point. That's not what we're doing at Reframed.

When we say our products are built to the highest standards, we mean it in a way you can verify. With certifications you can look up. With a supply chain rooted in a city — Beirut — that we're proud to name.

Here's exactly what goes into every piece we make.

The Fabrics: Certified, Not Just Claimed

We don't ask you to take our word for it on fabric quality. We use certifications that do the talking.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100

Every fabric in the Reframed lineup that carries the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification has been independently tested for harmful substances. That means the material has been checked for over 100 substances — pesticides, heavy metals, formaldehyde, pH levels — and passed.

What that means for you: the fabric touching your skin has been verified to be safe. Not "we think it's safe." Not "our supplier told us it's safe." Independently tested and certified safe.

For a generation that's grown up watching brands make claims they can't back up, we think that distinction matters.

OCS — Organic Content Standard

The Organic Content Standard certification verifies that a product contains the percentage of organic material it claims to. It tracks organic inputs from source through the supply chain, so when we say organic content, it's not a guess or a label — it's a verified fact.

We use OCS-certified materials because we believe in putting that standard to the test. Organic inputs mean less synthetic chemical processing at the fiber level, which means a better-quality material that holds up over time.

Good fabric isn't just about how it feels on day one. It's about how it holds up after a hundred washes. OCS-certified organic materials are part of how we get there.

Made in Lebanon: A Decision We Stand Behind

Our products are manufactured in Lebanon. That's a deliberate choice — not a shortcut, not a compromise.

Supporting Local Craft

Lebanon has a long history of textile production and skilled garment manufacturing. The craftspeople we work with bring genuine expertise to every piece. When you're wearing a Reframed garment, real hands — trained, skilled, experienced ones — built it.

We're not outsourcing to the cheapest available option and calling it "crafted." We're working with people we know, in a place we're connected to, producing at a standard we can stand behind.

Investing in the Local Economy

Manufacturing locally means the money stays local. It means jobs, livelihoods, and a supply chain we can actually see and verify. In a country navigating serious economic challenges, that matters to us on a human level — not just a business one.

This isn't about branding ourselves as "ethical" for marketing points. It's about making a choice that aligns with what Reframed actually stands for: doing things right, even when the easier option exists.

Tighter Quality Control

When your manufacturer is local, you know what's happening at every stage. There's no shipping product across three continents and hoping it arrives to spec. We can review, adjust, and hold the standard in real time.

That proximity is part of why the quality is what it is. Distance creates gaps. We closed them.

What "Highest Standards" Actually Means to Us

The phrase gets used a lot. We want to be specific about what it means at Reframed:

Fabric quality that lasts. We choose materials that maintain their weight, color, and structure after repeated wear and washing. The kind of piece you're still reaching for two years from now.

Construction that holds. Seams, stitching, and finishing are done to a standard that doesn't fall apart when the product actually gets used. Clothes are meant to be worn — we build for that.

Certifications that verify what we claim. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and OCS aren't just acronyms on a product page. They're third-party proof that our fabrics are what we say they are.

A supply chain we can name. We know where our fabric comes from and where our products are made. That's not a given in this industry. For us, it's non-negotiable.

Why This Matters for You

We're not asking you to care about supply chains because it's the right thing to do. We're telling you this because it directly affects the thing you actually care about: whether the product is worth it.

Certified fabrics feel better and last longer. Local manufacturing means tighter quality control and better construction. A brand that takes this seriously is a brand you can trust to keep taking it seriously.

Reframed was built for people who don't settle — for the version of themselves that was handed to them, or for the product they're given when they know a better one exists.

This is how we make sure the better one exists.
